Neutering Kookie
After discussion, we’ve decided to neuter Kookie for health benefits. It is said that neutered dogs has less risk of testicular cancer and lives a longer life. One benefit that I’ve observed is Kookie no longer marks around the house.
I also had Kookie micro-chipped. However, the nurse made a mistake while typing his name so his sterilization certificate and microchip certificate spelt his name as Kooki. Guess I will have to register him under this spelling.
Kooki (as he is called now) is not supposed to bathe for the next 10 days and is to be prevented from licking his wound for the next 14 days. The vet gave him an e-collar but he refuses to move a single inch with the e-collar on, so I bought him baby shorts and cut a hole for his tail so that he can feel more comfortable when we’re around.
