Boring…

Ah boy says my blog has not been updated for a long time. Then I realised, he updated his blog much faster than me recently….

    Kai Ling, my daughter is having a baby next month and is looking for a Chinese name since my wife is Chinese American from Hawaii. As the grandfather, my daughter wants me to help her find a name. I know this is not how names are chosen in a Chinese family, but it is the best I can do (not being Chinese). My wife’s grandfather chose my two children’s Chinese names, but all the Chinese speakers have now passed on. My daughter would like to know the meaning of Kai Ling. Do you know the English meaning?

    I have been to Singapore many times. It is one of my favorite cities – as a computer teacher I spent much time at the old Funan Center buying computer items.
