I have been thinking if I should take up BSc / BSc (Honours) Mathematics with Psychology @ SIM for the next July intake but financial is a worry. Hopefully I can find sponsors or strike lottery sufficient to cover the course. Till then…

While I was happily posting how I enjoyed the concert last Saturday, someone has attracted attention to her blog by posting negative feedbacks:

“昨天晚上去看李宗盛等人的演唱会，老实讲，相当失望。如果要用一个词来形容的话：草率！

昨晚的上座率还不错，基本满场。为了演唱会，我还特地化了淡妆（这已经违背我平时不上班就不化妆的原则），冒着伤害皮肤的危险顶着妆、穿着6寸的高 跟鞋还有裙子，美美地准时赶到，等了半个小时，还不见开场。更糟糕的是，环顾四周，我发现周围的人不是拖鞋、就是短裤，毫不夸张地说，我大概是全场唯一一 个dress up 的人，你想，我有多尴尬，好像我打扮得美美，就是为了引人注意似的

接着，终于开场，我只能说歌手们唱得麻麻地，不知为什么总觉得他们好似信手拈来，没费什么大气力准备似的，而且每首歌的间隔总是废话连篇，除了感谢 大哥，就是感谢大哥送的吉他，个个的语言表达能力有限、又忙着捧“臭脚”，场内的气氛已经冷到不行，最后连一个encore都没有。

还令人不能忍受的就是歌手们的穿着和观众一样随便，除了衬衫就是牛仔裤！！！一个叫陈绮贞的女歌手衬衫、牛仔裤，居然还穿着球鞋！！！天哪！这哪里 是表演？！表演应该带给人们视觉和听觉的享受吧？我们先不要和国外的艺人，像是麦当娜、小甜甜比，就算华人圈，也没法比吧？至今一定还记得郑秀文的 NIKE眉，王菲的晒伤装吧？所以号称实力派并不是穿着随便的借口，花了百多块，谁要看你穿牛仔裤T恤？

再说，腿又不长，穿起来一点都不好看！”

This post of hers has resulted in many comments in various forums as well as some replies from the General Manager of Rock Records.

滚石总经理反驳：穿６吋高跟鞋　张海洁走错场地了！

对于张海洁的批评，新加坡滚石总经理严光华反驳说：“我想她走错场地了！这场演出不属于她。”

严光华解释说：“演唱会分两种，一种是‘秀’，就是有升降台、爆破特效、华丽服装等的表演。另一种是音乐会。我想张海洁是习惯看‘秀’的观众，但是 Lee Guitars演唱会一开始就标榜着是一场acoustic的演出，如果有那些爆点就和主题很不搭调了。很可惜她没有做好功课，没有搞清楚这点，所以期望 会有落差。”

至于张海洁批评观众和歌手的服装，严光华说：“现在看演唱会，已经没有人盛装打扮了，只要穿着得体就可以了，而穿T恤和牛仔裤是得体的。穿六吋高跟鞋就真的不适合了，因为那就没有办法high起来。”他接着比喻:“就像我们到贫民窟也不会穿得太华丽的。”

谈到encore的部分，严光华反问:“是谁说演唱会一定要有encore呢？”他表示，当晚演唱会有六组表演嘉宾，让谁出来encore都不对，“所以最后一首大合唱就已经是encore了啊。”

Well, I could only say: if you are a 公众人物, please be careful with your selection of words. Some of her terms used can be deemed to be quite rude to some readers.

I have expected this concert to be quite casual as the name suggested. The only disappointment I had was not able to hear 阿信 & 陈绮贞’s duet on that day. Otherwise, everything as on par with my expectations.

I went to the Lee Guitars All Stars Concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium yesterday. I would say this is one unique concert as the name suggests, the bulk of the performance involved guitars. Even the stage is a big big guitar!!!

The concert started with 李宗盛 singing the theme song for the concert followed by a few songs he has written, then with Emil Chou (周华健）who managed to make the uncle sitting beside me to sing and clap along with him.

The guy in shades in 张震岳. The trio were singing 《我是一只小小鸟》.

The concert continued with Tanya Chua & 陈绮贞 and a guitar pro playing 《离开地球表面》 solely on his guitar. Many were amazed by him.

The whole concert ended with 五月天’s performance with 李宗盛 rounding up. I found it a pity that 阿信 did not sing 《私奔到月球》with 陈绮贞 as I felt that would make a very good guitar duet and this is one of the few times they get to perform together on the same stage.
